Send the exact current and requested details with your booking reference, then wait for the accepted amendment and revised confirmation.

Describe the correction precisely
A name correction and a date change are different requests. For a name, show the current entry and the corrected spelling. For a date, show the booked departure and the requested replacement date. Include the booking reference so the team can identify the actual service instead of creating another unrelated booking.
The site’s terms state that changes need written confirmation and supplier acceptance. Sending a request is therefore the beginning of the process, not proof that the booking has already been amended.
Keep a spelling correction separate from a new traveller
Correcting a typographical error is not necessarily the same as replacing one passenger with another. State what is changing and let the team check the operator’s passenger and manifest rules. Do not assume every ticket permits name transfers.
Provide only the information requested through the booking process. The public terms tell guests not to enter passport or card details in an enquiry form. This guide does not create a new identity-document upload channel or a deadline that the operator has not given you.

Recheck the whole journey when the date moves
The Full-Day and Grandeur programmes have different pickup windows. A new date may also change how your hotel stay or mainland transport fits. If you need those services adjusted too, identify each of them in the message rather than assuming the cruise change covers everything.
Ask for the availability, any amount difference and the conditions applying to the requested arrangement. A preferred new date is not confirmed simply because a calendar input accepts it or another traveller can see the service page.
Preserve one accurate group record
For a family or larger party, nominate one contact to collect corrections before sending them. This reduces contradictory messages where one adult asks for a new day and another still follows the original pickup plan.
Once the team replies, distinguish accepted changes from items still being checked. If the correction is refused, ask what the current booking remains and which conditions apply. Do not assume that submitting a change request cancels the original departure or suspends its deadlines.
Travel with the revised confirmation
Check the updated record after an amendment is accepted: service, date, guests, pickup and any revised amounts or conditions. Save the latest version so it is easy to find on the day. A useful filename or note can include the travel date and booking reference without containing sensitive information.
This simple version control matters more than a long email history. The goal is that you, the team and the operator all act on the same accepted details. Until written confirmation arrives, keep the request’s status clear and do not tell the rest of the party that the amendment is complete.
Questions answered
Does requesting a new date automatically amend the booking?
No. The current terms require written confirmation and supplier acceptance before a change takes effect.
Is correcting a spelling error the same as replacing a passenger?
Not necessarily. Explain the exact change so the operator’s passenger rules can be checked.
