Compare the amount for the same purchase

A meaningful price comparison starts with a like-for-like description of the day. Match the service, date, guest ages, pickup and included activities before comparing totals. Two prices can both be correct while covering different programmes or different parts of your journey.

The site’s current terms state that published selling prices include VAT and that each price is stated per adult, per boat, per vehicle or per cabin as shown. Use that stated basis for the actual purchase rather than assuming a prominent number covers every guest and transfer in your plan.

Keep the unit visible

A per-person cruise fare is not a party total. A separate vehicle or other service can use a different unit. Write the quantity beside each line so you know whether you are comparing one adult, the whole family or an additional transfer.

For example, a party with adult and child categories should compare the confirmed family total rather than multiplying an adult starting fare by everyone travelling. The selected product’s rules and the actual ages determine how the total is calculated; this guide does not supply a new fare formula.

Read inclusions alongside the number

The Full-Day and Grandeur listings include lunch and activities but describe different programmes and facilities. Both also list exclusions. Compare what you would otherwise need to arrange or purchase, including drinks or an additional journey not covered by local pickup.

A lower headline is not necessarily a lower total for your preferred day. Equally, a higher-priced service is not automatically better for someone who does not want its extra activity or facility. Value comes from the arrangement you will actually use.

Separate the service total from payment costs

The current terms explain that international card payments through VTC Pay carry the gateway’s own fee, shown on the gateway before you pay. Read the payment screen and instructions before completing the transaction. Do not mistake the presence of VAT in a selling price for a promise that no payment-related cost can ever appear.

Keep this a comparison of the displayed and written amounts for your own transaction. The article does not calculate taxes, recommend a financial product or quote a permanent exchange rate. If a charge is unclear, ask the seller to explain it before payment.

Make one small comparison sheet

Use four lines for each option: service and date, guest quantities, included programme, and final amount plus separately identified costs. Add the conditions that matter to your decision, such as the cancellation schedule. This turns an attractive headline into an understandable booking proposal.

Save your booking confirmation rather than relying on a screenshot of an earlier starting price. You then have the same reference as the team if a guest count changes or another service is added. The objective is clarity about the purchased day, not a claim that every possible cruise can be reduced to one comparable number.

Questions answered

Can I multiply the adult starting fare by every family member?

Use the total shown before payment and your booking confirmation instead. Child categories and guest details can change the way the actual party total is assembled.

Does VAT-inclusive mean every possible extra is included?

No. Check the included services, separately quoted items and applicable payment costs in your booking summary and on the payment page.

Before you book

This guide draws on the listed services and booking policies. Listed day cruises show the itinerary, inclusions and VAT-inclusive total before you pay; programmes marked for availability review are confirmed before payment.
