Some Cat Ba day programmes describe cruising through part of Ha Long as well as Lan Ha. This identifies a planned area of the boat journey. It does not automatically add Sung Sot Cave, Ti Top Island or another famous Ha Long landing to the itinerary. Look for the actual named stop and the activity beside it.

The Full-Day programme lists a southern Ha Long cruising section between lunch and its later Ba Trai Dao stop. Boutique describes a route through Lan Ha and part of Ha Long, with kayaking at Tai Keo near the boundary. In both cases, the sequence gives a more useful picture than a headline saying two bays.
